This weekend was so much fun! I spent most of it hanging out with friends, watching nearly every game of March Madness, and running around Philly.
I went for a beautiful run on Thursday night, and had to throw up a "V for Villanova", as is tradition at the home games. March Madness is always way more exciting when your alma mater is playing!
Me and Diana (my Maid of Honor and fellow Nova alum) cheered together for the Cats during their W against Milwaukee late Thursday night. Sadly, Nova lost to UConn on Saturday night, but life goes on.
On Saturday night, I hung out with a bunch of friends around a bonfire, and it finally felt like spring had arrived. I cannot wait for way more of this during the spring and summer time!
In running news this weekend, I was so happy to learn that two-time Olympian Kara Goucher signed with Oiselle! I have always looked up to her as an inspirational running role model, and I'm proud of her for choosing a sponsor based on her morals and values instead of dollar signs. More running related fun... my blog was featured in the Mid-Atlantic U.S. Track and Field (USATF) quarterly newsletter! They liked my race report on the Ugly Mudder trail race and featured some "color commentary" and a photo from my report on page 13 of their newsletter. Check it out HERE!
I also got some Honey Stinger swag in the mail, just in time for the Love Run this Sunday, March 30.
Most fun news of all, we got our engagement photos back this weekend! I'm going to wait until our photographer puts up a full blog post about it to share more, but here's a sneak peek at one of my favorites:

I think that's about it for now. Have a great week!
